One product, two names. "Sintered stone" and "big slab" are the same material — 岩板. Here is what importers actually need to know: the sizes, the applications, and the one quality test that decides whether a slab is worth buying.

1. Sintered stone = big slab (same product)

Before anything else, clear up the naming. On the retail and specification side the material is called sintered stone. On the sourcing and fabrication side it is called big slab or large-format slab. Both mean the same thing: 岩板 — a large, thin, densely compacted slab made by sintering raw materials under high pressure and temperature.

They are not two different products, and you should not source them as if they were. When you evaluate a supplier, judge the slab, not the label.

What actually determines whether a slab is worth buying — and whether it can even be processed — is its processability (加工性能) and its breakage / failure rate during fabrication (加工破损率).
